What is SMS Counter?

* SMS Counter keeps track of the numbers of SMS messages that you send and receive each month from your Treo smart phone.

* Select the day of the month on which you are billed by your carrier, and SMS Counter shows you exactly how many messages you’ve sent and received during each billing cycle.

* You can even tell SMS Counter to send you an alert whenever you exceed a specific number of SMS messages within each billing cycle.

How does it work?

* You continue to use your existing SMS messaging application. SMS Counter listens for SMS messages leaving from or arriving to your phone and counts them.

* Deleting messages you’ve sent or received has no effect on the accurate message count maintained by SMS Counter.

Does the Treo’s built-in SMS program do this?

* No. The SMS program built into your Treo will show you only the number of SMS messages that are currently contained in your Treo’s SMS history.

* If you delete a message from the SMS history, the count will no longer contain the current number of SMS messages that you have sent or received.

* It also does not provide a monthly breakdown of exactly how many messages you’ve sent or receieved within each billing cycle. You can only view a total of all messages in the SMS history.
