Info/description:

EdWin is an ideal learning tool because it allows you to quickly master and memorize any topic. Mastery comes from processing information and memorizing comes from repeated exposure to information.

Mastery:
Use EdWin on your Palm OS compatible handheld, or the eReviewBook for Windows on your laptop to take notes. After class, go over your notes and fill in any gaps in the material. Then, create questions & answers that capture the ideas and nuances in your notes. This act of taking the notes and creating the question & answers forces you to process the information. These simple steps will allow you to achieve greater mastery of your course material.

Memorizing:
Once you have mastered the material, it is time to move to memorizing it. Psychologists discovered long ago that if you see something passively 20-30 times, you are going to commit it to memory - think commercials, songs, etc. A mobile platform makes it easy for you to carry your questions around with you everywhere, so you can review your test material anytime. This way, you will have no problem hitting those 20-30 repetitions that you will need to memorize the information. And, EdWin has several features that help to speed up this process even more.

Memory Enhancing Features:
EdWin allows you to go through your questions in random order. EdWin's depth mode allows you to create a strategic hierarchy to rapidly review questions in the most effective way possible. EdWin's cycle mode allows you to keep drilling yourself on the questions that you get wrong, until you get them right. Repetition is simplified by your ability to use the six buttons on the Palm as if you were playing a video game.

EdWin is for Everyone:
EdWin on your Palm device facilitates learning in a way that will amaze you. You will share in our excitement when you receive your improved test scores. Although Edwin was designed for college and graduate school students, there are children in grade school that are able to use it! So if they can do it, you can do it too!
