"Artillery Duel" is a clone of a C=64 game which I played - e.g. with my brother - many years ago.
The program has been developed using PocketC for PalmOS and is free software.
"Artillery Duel" comes as black/white and gray scale version - please check readme for installation details.
Update Description:
Change Types: C=Cosmetic change; E=Error correction; F=Functional change; T=Technical change
PLEASE NOTE: Black/white version (does not mean grayscale) is no longer provided, please ask me if you have a black/white device only.
Changes in build 236M (04/05/02):
T: reduced size of program by about 20-25% - uses compressed bitmaps now (bitmaps were not compressed by PRCedit beta - solved with PILRC)
Changes in build 236M to build 1CAA (03/07/02):
C: plants look much more like in original C64 Artillery Duel
C: shakes screen after each finished duel now (like it, Shano C?)
Changes in build 1CAA to build 1ASG (12/14/01):
F: added separate Artillery Duel Winter Edition
T: changed grayscale mode support from 4 shades of gray to 16 shades of gray (some older Palms do not support this - use the included "ArtilleryDuel_1ASG" in this case)
T: changed landscape calculation
C: added Mountains to playfield background as in original Commodore 64 "Artillery Duel"
C: replaced PocketC bitmap for sky with real bitmap (much nicer, but consumes more memory)
