WordWiggle is a game where you try to find as many words in a jumble of letters as you can.

Currently, the Palm version is limited to playing practice games.

The goal is to be able to play multi-player WordWiggle tournaments that are held on WordWiggle.com. (This is harder than it looks due to security issues.)

The WordWiggle dictionary is available as a separate download.

The dictionary format compresses the 173,500+ word / 1,750K+ byte dictionary down to around 350K! (About 16.1 bits per word!)

Update Description:

A minor usability update:

1) Entry of a word can now be done by double-tapping the last letter of the word. This allows you to enter words a bit faster as you don't have to tap the "keep" button at the bottom of the screen.

2) During the entry of words, the last tapped letter is shown inverted rather than blank such that you can tell what was last selected without having to look at the bottom of the screen where the word is being built.

Added support for PalmOS 5 and HiRes features. I have not yet made new icons but the game play is now in high resolution and with variable font sizes.

You can now play challenge games with other WordWiggle users via IR.

Added a new sort option the lets you sort the words in the order that you entered them. Thus you can now sort the word list by score, by word, or as entered.

The "View Words" feature that lets you view the words in the dictionary. Since the dictionary is very large, this feature is currently limited to showing you a page at a time. You can use graffiti to search for words in the dictionary. In OS5 devices, it is now possible to put the dictionary in a memory card (SD/etc)
