Info/description:

MyPersonalDiet gives you the tools to reach you weight goal by providing simple means of tracking your food and workouts, monitor your health and get clear assessments of your efforts and results. MyPersonalDiet will not burn calories for you, but it will eliminate any guesswork and help you make the right decisions to reach your objectives.

MyPersonalDiet is diet-friendly

* Set a realistic and achievable weight goal and duration. Enter your profile and find out what your normal weight range is. Then choose your target weight and find out how long a healthy diet will take.

* Choose one of the pre-defined diet plans (such as low carb, low fat, etc.) or create your own, and be notified if the food you select does not match your plan (such as choosing food too rich in carbs while being on a low-carb diet).

* Set nutrients daily limits (minimum and/or maximum) on specific nutrients you need to watch for, such as carbs, but also cholesterol, fiber, sugar, sodium, etc. You can then quickly find out how much of them you consumed and eliminate any guesswork about how much you can still consume (or not) for the remaining of the day while staying within your limits.

* Export meals, workouts and health information to a CSV file, which can be read and printed from Microsoft Excel.

MyPersonalDiet allows comprehensive data entry

* 7500+ food items based on the USDA food database, along macro- and micro-nutrients (carbs, proteins, total fat, sodium, cholesterol, sugar, etc.) You can add your own food with the same detailed information.

* You can add your own food with detailed nutritional information, either by weight (g/mg) or by percent Daily Value (%DV), making it a snap to enter custom foods if you have the nutritional facts (found on almost all food items)

* Essential vital signs (weight, body fat, blood pressure) and blood work markers (calcium, insulin, iron, hematocrit and trygliceride to name a few)

* Key workout information, such as the activity (one of the 20+ predefined or create your own), duration, exertion, etc. with automatic calculation of the energy spent and fat burnt.

MyPersonalDiet provides easy monitoring and tracking

* The day view shows a summary of calories (kilojoules) or any nutrients you wish to track (such as carbs, sugar, etc), and a diet summary that displays your weight weight trend from the start of your diet (independently of the too-often discouraging but normal daily weight fluctuations).

* The month view shows an immediate snapshot of your efforts overall: you can immediately see for any day if your weight is on track with your goal or not, helping you make a prompt assessment of your situation and take the right decisions.

* The chart view lets you visualize the information that matters to you. Besides your weight, you can track your diet progress (e.g. weight, body fat), food nutrients that matter to you (e.g. carbs, iron), vital signs (e.g. blood pressure, glucose) and workouts (e.g. duration).

MyPersonalDiet is a powerful, yet user-friendly application

* MySportTraining features an intuitive, easy-to-use Palm OS look-and-feel user interface.

* 5-way navigation buttons (including the Sony CLIE Jog Dial) are fully supported.

* It takes advantage of your device's high resolution (320x320) capabilities if available (including Tungsten T3 & T5 480x320 and 320x480), but also runs at ease on standard resolution (160x160).

* It uses your device's settings for the date and time formats, as well as default measurement units for convenience.

* Being from the developers of the awards-winning MySportTraining, you will find a meticulously hand-crafted user interface.

* And if you use MySportTraining, workout and health information entered in one application will show up in the other (requires MySportTraining 3.2.7 or newer).

Updated Description:
* Minor cosmetic fixes
