Would you like to have the daily readings every day but don't have the opportunity to attending daily Mass? Or do you like to prepare ahead of Mass by reading the daily readings?
Ambo makes it possible for you to carry the daily readings and a number of commentaries with you where ever you go.
Ambo retrieves and displays the daily readings of the Catholic church and reflections on the readings from Creighton University, DailyScripture.net, and SacredSpace.ie along with a general reflection from St John's Abbey. Each day the readings for that day are displayed. Ambo will always display the current day's readings. You can also go back and review previous days or work forward if you like. The number of days of readings you keep is flexible. New readings and reflections are downloaded from the web through a conduit when you synchronize so the readings are alway current.
Ambo will use the Dynamic Input Area on devices with that feature.
There are now conduits for both Windows and Macintosh.
The Ambo Conduit has been redesigned to use flexible configurations for downloads. If you have a favorite site that you would like to have included in Ambo, contact the author of this program. He will work with the publishers to see if they are willing to include their works in Ambo.
The readings and reflections are copywritten by their respective authors and used with permission in Ambo.
