Me Inc. Division of The SCO Group, Inc. Highlights Mobile Products' Early Success at CTIA Wireless Show
Growing Popularity of Shout Postcard, Shout Marketing and HipCheck Products Validates Company's Vision, Early Lead in Innovative Personal Mobile Technology

The Me Inc. mobile division of The SCO Group, Inc. ("SCO") (Nasdaq: SCOX), a leading provider of UNIX(R) software technology and mobile services, today announced that it will highlight the early success of two innovative personal mobility products at the CTIA Wireless Show March 27-29, 2007 in Orlando, Florida. Released within the past few months, the products demonstrate the leading position the company is establishing at the frontier of highly functional, affordable personal mobility products for the Palm Treo, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry and other Java devices.

"There is a major shift occurring in the IT world toward mobility, and SCO is at the forefront of that movement with this award-winning technology," said Darl McBride, CEO of The SCO Group, Inc. "Our strength in the server and operating system environment, combined with our innovative new mobile products, will enable individuals and organizations to quickly and affordably mobilize their work with powerful collaborative data tools."

Shout Postcard, a new mobile service that lets users quickly and easily share life's experiences on-the-go through photos, text and voice, is gaining popularity through the free Community version, which allows users to create a personalized, multimedia postcard that can be sent to family, friends, co-workers and social networks and managed on their own free Shout Web album -- which is automatically created for sharing and photo blogging. Shout Postcard has gained early success with the Community version (free download version), which allows users to send unlimited Shouts to up to 25 others. Shout Postcard has been featured as the download-of-the-day at several sites for smart phone software, including Lifehacker.com. Palm Treo users can download Shout Postcard at http://www.shoutpostcard.com.

Shout Marketing is another mobile application from Me Inc. being successfully used as a marketing tool by the Utah Jazz, Utah Blaze, Fairways Magazine, many colleges and universities, Bajio Grill (division of Subway) and others for cutting-edge customer retention and customer activation.

HipCheck, which allows IT system administrators to continually monitor the health of Windows and UNIX systems through their smart phone, has gained strong traction in a variety of critical IT environments, particularly where IT staff are limited or distributed and where 24/7/365 coverage is required. For example, MM Electrical Merchandising (MMEM), a major electrical wholesaling business in New South Wales, Australia, uses HipCheck to keep things running smoothly at 176 remote locations. HipCheck monitors the system's available memory, log files, CPU and network performance, and immediately alerts a technician's smart phone if a system is about to have trouble.

"The early success of these two products is validation that we are headed in the right direction in providing leading-edge new mobility products for both business and individuals," said McBride. "Mobile users and IT managers alike will be excited by an array of new products and technologies SCO will be rolling out in the coming months."
