Windows Mobile Based Smartphone Delivers Wireless Broadband Connectivity Over StarHub, SingTel and Globe Networks
Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq:PALM) today announced the availability of the Palm® Treo™ 750 smartphone on the StarHub and SingTel networks in Singapore and the Globe network in the Philippines. The Treo 750 offers the world-class Palm experience on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system.
The Treo 750 combines Palm’s one-of-a-kind user experience with a multifeatured mobile phone with email, messaging, web browsing and organisation software all in a new compact design.(1) The new smartphone is capable of High-speed Download Packet Access (HSDPA) wireless broadband connectivity and comes with Microsoft’s Direct Push Technology for Windows Mobile 5.0, which includes security features free and out of the box.(2)
